Bio:

Ezra took holy orders at age 16 in Sacramento, CA and has led missions in Mexico and the Japans. He has twice proved his mettle in battle, each time defending a farming village from raids by armed brigands. Now disillusioned with religion and the world, he has stopped communicating with the Bishop and has returned to America to make what he hopes is an uncomplicated living free of attachment.

Importantly, he missed the War Between the States and makes no truck with partisans of any stripe.
